VP of Corporate Accounting


Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a VP of Corporate Accounting to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage various special projects
  • Help process improvements and automate accounting and financial reporting
  • Prepare of financial metrics
  • Perform analytics and derive conclusions from data
  • Assist other members of the corporate accounting team
  • Preform and support internal reporting requirements and other ad-hoc requests
  • Prepare documentation on issues impacting financial operations and reporting

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Big 4/Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and Oracle skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related fields and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
