Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax costs projections and hypothetical tax
calculations.
- Accumulating, reviewing, determining the taxability,
and sourcing compensation data.
- Responding timely to expatriates'
tax questions or concerns.
- Assisting, advising, and coordinating
with the 3rd party accounting firms, HR, payroll, global
finance and project personnel, and the expatriates.
- Monitoring
foreign tax compliance, planning, and reviewing tax equalization
settlements; process tax payments and compensation adjustments,
and ensure employee wage statements are accurate.
- Perform
other assigned tasks such as analyzing and reconciling certain
general ledger ex-pat tax accounts; providing tax briefings
for short term assignees.
Requirements:
- BS in Accounting.
- Minimum 5 years of international corporate/expatriate
tax experience with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills.
- Must have strong understanding of
federal and international expatriate taxation.
- Must be detail
oriented with good organizational, analytical, and problem
solving skills.
- Must possess strong planning skills to balance
and prioritize work, and a strong sense of urgency.
- Must
be self motivated, take ownership of work, diligent, and
hands-on, and able to multi-task.
- Must have be self-reliant
with the ability to work both independently and as part
of a team.
