Senior International Tax Associate Job # T0309PN2
Industry: Construction / Engineering  Annual Compensation: $70 -100K

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Preparing tax costs projections and hypothetical tax calculations.
  • Accumulating, reviewing, determining the taxability, and sourcing compensation data.
  • Responding timely to expatriates' tax questions or concerns.
  • Assisting, advising, and coordinating with the 3rd party accounting firms, HR, payroll, global finance and project personnel, and the expatriates.
  • Monitoring foreign tax compliance, planning, and reviewing tax equalization settlements; process tax payments and compensation adjustments, and ensure employee wage statements are accurate.
  • Perform other assigned tasks such as analyzing and reconciling certain general ledger ex-pat tax accounts; providing tax briefings for short term assignees.  

Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting. 
  • Minimum 5 years of international corporate/expatriate tax experience with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. 
  • Must have strong understanding of federal and international expatriate taxation. 
  • Must be detail oriented with good organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills. 
  • Must possess strong planning skills to balance and prioritize work, and a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Must be self motivated, take ownership of work, diligent, and hands-on, and able to multi-task. 
  • Must have be self-reliant with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
