Teresa has over 20 years of
recruiting experience, both as a hiring manager and in
the recruiting profession. She started her post-graduate
career at the Big-4 CPA firm of Ernst & Young and
held various positions in private industry, including
Assistant Controller and Audit Manager for a $6 billion
financial services company. She joined Century Group in
1998 as an Associate, was promoted to Senior Associate
within eight months, and was the firm’s top producer
in her first full year of employment far exceeding
expectations as a “rookie.” Her continued success
has resulted in her subsequent promotion to Associate
Director and Director.
Teresa specializes in the
search for accounting, finance, audit, and tax
professionals. She has successfully provided her
expertise to hundreds of searches to a variety of
industries and clientele ranging from Fortune 500
companies and public accounting firms, to start-up
companies.
Teresa graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BS in
Business Administration / Accounting from California
State University, Dominguez Hills, financing 100% of her
living/educational expenses while employed full-time in
accounting positions in the distribution and aerospace
industries. She was actively involved with the Orange
County Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors,
servicing as Membership Recruitment Chairperson from
2001 – 2006
