Our client in the manufacturing distribution industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.
Job Description:
- Develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the company’s financial functions
- Produce strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues
- Assist in establishing short- and long-range organization goals
- Develop and advise cost and working capital reduction strategies
- Perform with colleagues and senior management in financial planning and results management
- Perform with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers
- Oversee continual improvement of the budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems
- Manage the handling of daily cash management relationships
- Oversee accurate and timely month end, quarter end and full year closing
- Produce an effective internal control structure
- Manage relationships with external service providers
- Manage the company’s finance organization
- Manage cross company shared services
Requirements:
- MBA / MAcc preferred
- CPA / CMA preferred
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
- A team player
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
