Chief Financial Officer

Our client in the manufacturing distribution industry is looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the company’s financial functions
  • Produce strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues
  • Assist in establishing short- and long-range organization goals
  • Develop and advise cost and working capital reduction strategies
  • Perform with colleagues and senior management in financial planning and results management
  • Perform with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers
  • Oversee continual improvement of the budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems
  • Manage the handling of daily cash management relationships
  • Oversee accurate and timely month end, quarter end and full year closing
  • Produce an effective internal control structure
  • Manage relationships with external service providers
  • Manage the company’s finance organization
  • Manage cross company shared services

 

Requirements:

  • MBA / MAcc preferred
  • CPA / CMA preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
