Certified Payroll Specialist

Our client in the construction/engineering industry is looking for a Certified Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County.


Job Description:

  • Prepare and submit payroll reports
  • Help process invoices, follow up with vendors and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile vendor statements
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Assist with audit process
  • Help prepare tax computations
  • Assist with monthly and year end tasks
  • Prepare journal entries



  • CPP preferred
  • Experience in the construction, engineering, or related industry experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic
  • Bilingual (Spanish), desirable



  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
