Fund Accountant / Valuations

Our client in the investment companies industry is looking for a Fund Accountant / Valuations to join their team in the Los Angeles County.


Job Description:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual fund financial statements
  • Perform monthly account closing procedures and analyses
  • Prepare timely and accurate net asset values
  • Assist with accounting requests from CFO and Managing Partners
  • Prepare quarterly board and managerial reporting materials
  • Prepare daily cash reconciliations and forecasting
  • Oversee timely payment of expenses and collection of interest
  • Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors



  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
