Cost Estimating Manager

Our client in the manufacturing distribution industry is looking for a Cost Estimating Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Develop piece cost and supplier tooling cost estimates
  • Perform closely with vehicle program managers
  • Assist Supply Chain team
  • Help Set affordable cost targets for vehicle programs
  • Oversee a database of raw material economics

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the automotive / technology industry is a plus
  • Experience in product costing, product development finance and cost reduction efforts is required
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
