Accounting Manager

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform reconciliation of cash and investments
  • Record and reconcile purchase and sale transactions
  • Estimate and post monthly closing accruals
  • Help calculate management and incentive fees
  • Help determine and prepare distributions and draw-downs
  • Monitor debt covenant compliance and prepare required reporting
  • Facilitate compliance with various regulatory requirements

 

Requirements:

  • Experience within the financial services
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
