Accounting Manager

Our client in the non-profit industry is looking for a Accounting Manager to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Supervise the AP process
  • Oversee and/or complete reconciliation
  • Assist with month/quarter/year-end closings and the preparation of financial statements
  • Process and/or approve wire transfers
  • Supervise monthly processing of prepaid and fixed asset amortizations
  • Assist with audits and examinations
  • Help develop control procedures and operating systems
  • Help prepare annual operating budget

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
