Interim Vice President Finance and Accounting (Project)

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Interim Vice President Finance and Accounting to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assess performance against goals
  • Develop tools and systems to provide financial/operational information
  • Help prepare budget and forecasts
  • Prepare and maintain financial planning reports
  • Complete analyses of financial results; develop recommendations
  • Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic initiatives
  • Help develop financial and operational metrics
  • Perform financial analysis, report departmental spending, and identify improvements
  • Prepare ad hoc analyses
  • Provide Sales analyses and reporting

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proven experience guiding, developing and leading a team
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
