Manager, Corporate Accounting

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Manager, Corporate Accounting to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Perform monthly and quarterly close
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules
  • Help develop and implement policies and procedures
  • Perform technical accounting research to resolve issues
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license, or international equivalent, strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting theory
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
