Finance Director

Our client in the construction / engineering industry is looking for a Finance Director to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Identify significant risks
  • Ensure compliance
  • Review construction and service contracts
  • Help prepare budgets and forecast updates
  • Help investigate variances and prepare monthly closing package
  • Assist with the month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Develop, implement and maintain policies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry strongly preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
