CAM Accountant

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a CAM Accountant to join their team in the Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Read and interpret lease agreements
  • Analyze GL operating expense activity
  • Analyze expenses trends; provide variance explanations
  • Calculate monthly operating expense estimates
  • Help prepare annual budgets
  • Perform reconciliations
  • Respond to tenant inquiries
  • Special projects as directed

 

Requirements:

  • Real Estate/Property Management Accounting experience preferred
  • Ability to understand and interpret leases
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with property management software, preferably MRI
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
