Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County
Job Description:
- Oversee overcharges discrepancies or data entry errors on accounting documents
- Prepare and process all accounts payable invoices, check requests, and expense report payments
- Perform weekly check runs
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare and review vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Assist with answering vendor inquiries
- Prepare and maintain vendor payable files, requesting W9s and contracts and agreements
- Prepare annual processing of Form 1099s
- Help file documents
- Perform year-end archiving of documents
- Performs other dutie
Requirements:
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
