SEC Reporting Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a SEC Reporting Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the preparation and coordination of SEC 10-Q/K filings
  • Help in the preparation of the quarterly and annual reports on Form 10-Q/K
  • Assist with the management of month end close cycle
  • Assist and review the consolidation process and preparation of the consolidated financial statements
  • Prepare necessary calculations for equity based compensation account and equity disclosures
  • Help with M&A activity including due diligence, preparation of purchase accounting memo and footnote disclosures
  • Assist external auditors on external financial statements and accounting issues
  • Prepare and review of non-financial reporting metrics
  • Perform ad hoc reporting

 

Requirements:

  • CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Experience in SEC technical reporting
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
