Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Corporate Senior Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County
Job Description:
- Prepare, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents
- Produce custom analysis reports
- Prepare monthly multi-departmental internal management reports and supporting schedules
- Prepare corporate overhead Income Statement and Balance Sheet accounts
- Prepare journal entries for monthly close
- Prepare audit work papers for semi-annual audits
- Assist the Manager on special projects
- Manage quarterly corporate forecast and annual budget
Requirements:
- Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and JD Edwards skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
- Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
