Project Accountant

Our client in the construction / engineering industry is looking for a Project Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County.

 

Job Description:

  • Create/maintain resource loaded schedules
  • Assist with estimates and proposal pricing
  • Help establish a cost/schedule financial baseline
  • Help develop and maintain financial documents
  • Monitor project costs and commitments
  • Maintain project in the accounting system
  • Prepare reports regarding cost and schedule

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
