Staff Accountant

Our client in the technology industry is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County.

 

Job Description:

  • Help prepare journal entries and maintain GL
  • Reconcile accounts; research variances
  • Prepare financial supporting schedules
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Assist with other ad-hoc projects

 

Requirements:

  • CPA preferred
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with large ERP system preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
