Accounting Manager

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Accounting Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee general accounting
  • Prepare financial statements and G/L and fixed assets
  • Assist the Divisional Controller
  • Assist in resolving account discrepancies
  • Oversee revenue by verifying transaction information
  • Oversee general ledger integrity
  • Assist in preparation of account reconciliations
  • Manage closing of the monthly and annual accounting cycles
  • Assist in forecasts and budgets by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
