Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee a team of Seven accountants
  • Assist in the enhancement of the automated accounts payable solution and work flow design
  • Perform and monitor weekly schedule and month end close deadlines
  • Manage processing of all vendor payments
  • Prepare daily/weekly Check & ACH transfers
  • Perform and update all cash logs daily after each payment run
  • Oversee 1099 annual processing
  • Help respond to vendor inquiries regarding account and payment status
  • Perform and reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
  • Prepare and review all special requests for appropriate documentation, compliance and approval
  • Help respond to audit requests

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
