Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for a Controller to join their team in the San Fernando Valley


Job Description:

  • Oversee all general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and fixed asset activities
  • Produce budgets/forecasts and analyze various business trends and spending
  • Manage all monthly, quarterly and year-end closings
  • Manage annual audit process and oversee preparation of audited financial statements
  • Assist with FP&A to ensure accurate forecasts, and financial information
  • Oversee the maximizing the return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls and reporting systems
  • Manage Percentage of Completion Accounting practices
  • Oversee & manage all accounting and reporting



  • MBA preferred
  • CPA or CPA eligibility a plus
  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented

  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
