SEC & Financial Reporting Manager

Our client in the real estate company industry is looking for a SEC & Financial Reporting Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee the preparation and filing of all SEC financial reports and work papers
  • Prepare and ensure the completion of 10-K or 10-Q document works together
  • Prepare quarterly earnings releases
  • Assist with conference call scripts and investor slide decks
  • Produce and maintain SEC calendar
  • Prepare communications for the quarterly committee meetings
  • Oversee, assist, develop and update written policies and procedures
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen internal controls over the financial reporting process
  • Assist VP Controller and Chief Accounting Officer to coordinate with the external auditors
  • Develop processes to assist in the integration of external and internal reporting
  • Perform other special projects

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP System skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
