Tax Manager

Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley


Job Description:

  • Perform update and maintain tax planning and forecasting models
  • Prepare of cause of change analysis
  • Assist the department’s efforts in identifying risks and opportunities by producing persuasive, data-driven arguments to support management’s decisions
  • Assist management with the assumption gathering process
  • Assist with the preparation of executive summaries
  • Prepare quarterly non-US tax provision for SEC reporting
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects



  • CPA license
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail and deadline-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic



  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, tax, accounting, economics, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
