Interim Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Tax Compliance Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Research and resolve payroll related inquiries and problems
  • Help collect and balance time data
  • Compile financial, tax and payroll reports
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and filings
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency on all payroll functions
  • Assist with payroll systems related maintenance

 

Requirements:

  • CPP accreditation preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of Kronos, ADP Workforce Now, and SAP preferred
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree a plus and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
