Interim Payroll Analyst (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Analyst  to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the bi-weekly payroll process
  • Perform analysis and reporting for HR and operations
  • Help respond to any payroll
  • Perform payroll information on a daily basis
  • Ensure all new hires are uploaded into the system
  • Manage all Year End payroll tasks
  • Prepare and process garnishments
  • Process final checks on a daily basis
  • Assist HR Generalist on benefit eligible employees and terminated benefitted employees

 

Requirements:

  • Payroll Certification or HR Certification preferred
  • Experience in retail preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ADP Workforce system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
