Interim Payroll Analyst (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Analyst to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage bi-weekly payroll process
  • Perform analysis and reporting related to payroll costs
  • Respond to any payroll inquiries
  • Ensure all new hires are uploaded into the system
  • Manage all Year End payroll tasks
  • Process garnishments
  • Set up any UI taxes or Local taxes
  • Process final checks
  • Communicate with HR Generalist/Recruiter on benefit eligibility

 

Requirements:

  • Payroll Certification or HR Certification a plus
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is a huge plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
