Accounting Manager

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with monthly close
  • Assist with journal entries and reconciliations
  • Ensure timely completion of all JSOX control requirements
  • Prepare eliminating entries for monthly consolidation
  • Produce monthly management reports
  • Maintain general ledger
  • Prepare schedules for auditors
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Review and approve invoices

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • SAP and BPC reporting preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience
