Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles.

 

Job Description:

  • Process full cycle payroll for multiple entities and different states
  • Perform reconciliations and make corrections as necessary
  • Help maintain accuracy of employee data
  • Prepare tax forms and file payroll tax reports
  • Manage and coordinate employee benefits and time off records

 

Requirements:

  • FPC Certification preferred
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
