Asset Manager

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Asset Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Oversee and manage third-party leasing and management companies and their staff
  • Perform regular market visits and property inspections
  • Assist accounting team in reviewing accounts receivables and reporting on collections
  • Perform, review and approve accounts payable on a daily basis,
  • Prepare and maintain proactive tenant relations program
  • Perform, review and approve documents related to operating and marketing the properties
  • Review and implement capital improvement strategies and processes
  • Assist with management in the disposition process of properties
  • Assist direction to leasing agents and attorneys of leasing strategies
  • Oversee in lease negotiations
  • Prepare annual Budget
  • Prepare Strategic Plan for each property on an annual basis
  • Perform periodic reporting
  • Perform monthly budget comparison/variances, property status reports, quarterly financial reports of institutional quality

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the financial services, real estate or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP System skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 7 years’ relevant experience
