Accountant

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Compile and analyze financial information
  • Distribute expenditures, encumbrances, receipts, and receivables
  • Perform statistical analyses
  • Audit contracts, orders, and vouchers
  • Monitor compliance with GAAP
  • Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
