Director of HR

Our client in the service company industry is looking for a Director of HR to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Assist with planning new programs/strategies and regulatory action
  • Help develop staffing strategies
  • Help develop compensation and benefits programs
  • Develop appropriate policies and programs
  • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain knowledge of HR policies, programs, employment laws and issues
  • Manage employee communication, safety and health, and community relations

 

Requirements:

  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certified
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, psychology, or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
