Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Provide purchasing support
  • Maintain internal control documentation
  • Oversee A/P entries
  • Manage vendor set up processes
  • Manage Accounts Payable closing process
  • Develop professional development program
  • Review workload and address performance issues
  • Manage workflow system
  • Administer the Corporate credit card program
  • Manage vendor records, W9, and 1099 reporting
  • Review AP aging and outstanding checks and manage the escheatment filing

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Great Plains
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
