Interim Payroll Manager (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage and weekly and bi-weekly disbursement of multi-state payroll
  • Help process new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions and terminations
  • Manage payroll staff
  • Process weekly paychecks
  • Prepare W-4s, payroll balance sheets, YTD earnings and audit
  • Assist HR with benefits
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports
  • Oversee reporting and filing to various Federal, state, local and other filing
  • Manage vendor relationship

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ADP system skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
