Interim Accounts Payable Specialist (Project)

Our client in the service companies industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Match purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices
  • Code and enter invoices
  • Prepare and mail Form 1099 and checks
  • Reconcile vendor statements and marketing invoices
  • Maintain accounts payable files
  • Prepare account analysis and marketing expense projections
  • Prepare accounts payable financial reports
  • Answer vendor inquiries
  • Provide accounts payable related data

 

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail, deadline and goal-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
