Human Resources Manager

Our client in the retail industry is looking for an Human Resources Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Develop policies, procedure and metrics
  • Implement people-related services, policies, and programs
  • Develop and monitor an annual budget
  • Manage all Human Resources training programs
  • Provide education and materials
  • Coordinate company use of insurance brokers, insurance carriers and pension administrators
  • Lead the development of benefit orientations
  • Establish the company wage, salary structure and pay policies
  • Oversee the variable pay systems
  • Manage the preparation and maintenance of reports
  • Prepare periodic reports
  • Establish and lead the recruiting/hiring practices and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the retail or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and HRIS
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, organization development or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
