Interim Internal Auditor (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Internal Auditor to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare/update checklist and evaluate controls
  • Prepare flowcharts
  • Help write, revise and perform a control test plan
  • Help identify and resolve design/operating deficiencies
  • Assist with the annual audit
  • Perform an operational audit project
  • Assist with and summarize audit findings

 

Requirements:

  • CPA or CIA license preferred
  • Strong knowledge of SOX
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
