Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the real estate industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions and compliance are processed accurately and timely
  • Help reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
  • Help process payroll bi-weekly
  • Help process year-end reporting
  • Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting
  • Perform research and email appropriate audience of file issues
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ADP system
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
