Interim Accounts Payable Lead (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Lead to join their team in San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Manage invoice processing, financial disbursement and discrepancy/exception resolution
  • Responsible for supplier issues
  • Help reconcile vendor accounts
  • Help identify issues and resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes and procedures
  • Develop, track and monitor KPI’s
  • Oversee GL coding on non-PO invoicing, and be able to
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Analyze and accrue various invoices and expense items
  • Provide internal/external audit request support
  • Prepare and file 1099 forms

Requirements:

  • Experience in distribution or related industries
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and ERP experience
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, etc. or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
