Payroll Specialist

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
  • Help research and resolve client issues
  • Issue off cycle manual check payments
  • Assist with verification of employment requests
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
