Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County.
Job Description:
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll
- Help research and resolve client issues
- Issue off cycle manual check payments
- Assist with verification of employment requests
- Reconcile payroll prior to transmission
Requirements:
- Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
- Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
- Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
- Strong work ethic
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
