Interim Accounts Payable Manager (Project)

Our client in the consumer products industry is looking for an Interim Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Review and approve processed invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare weekly payment disbursements and projected cash flows
  • Oversee reconciliation between A/P aging and vendors’ A/R aging
  • Oversee vendor master organization and IRS W-9 forms compliance
  • Help issue annual IRS 1099 forms
  • Develop A/P records and digital filing system
  • Suggest and implement improvements to processes
  • Help streamline procurement and payment processes
  • Assist with compiling year-end external audit requests and monthly accrual process
  • Manage monthly closing AP module
  • Help analyze inventory-related accrual accounts
  • Prepare month-end account reconciliations

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in the manufacturing or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and NetSuite experience
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
