Payroll Manager

Our client in the entertainment industry is looking for an Payroll Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Manage payroll for employees
  • Manage the upkeep and fidelity of payroll records
  • Assist Human Resources, Finance, and other managerial professionals and generalists process administration
  • Help address any payroll issues
  • Help process deductions such as healthcare, retirement, and wage garnishments
  • Help identify and implement process improvements to streamline transactions and improve controls
  • Produce payroll and labor reports

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and UltiPro payroll suite
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while meeting deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
