VP of Finance

Our client in the transportation industry is looking for a VP of Finance to join their team in Orange County

 

Job Description:

  • Review and implement processes, policies, and procedures
  • Oversee the issuance of financial information and report financial results
  • Develop and manage the finance and accounting team
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, supervision, and evaluation of department staff
  • Establish financial reporting systems and controls
  • Review and maintain appropriate insurance coverage
  • Oversee and ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies
  • Maintain relations with external auditors, legal, and banks
  • Help monitor cash balances
  • Prepare debt and equity financing
  • Help network in prominent business circles to promote business

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience
