Interim Accounting Specialist (Project)

Our client in the service company industry is looking for an Interim Accounting Specialist to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Process invoices and issue checks
  • Process check runs
  • Perform bank and GL account reconciliations
  • Create numerous Ad-hoc reports
  • Prepare financial statements
  • Assist with audits
  • Assist with year-end tax returns
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Assist with commissions calculations and processing
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
