Interim Payroll Specialist (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Specialist to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Reconcile and audit payroll
  • Process garnishment orders
  • Record and report stock transactions
  • Process out-of-cycle manual checks
  • Process all employee Leave of Absence audits.
  • Assist with employee termination and final payment
  • Create ad-hoc payroll system reports
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Respond to employment verification requests

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to be discreet with confidential/sensitive information
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
