Allowance Analysis

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Allowance Analysis to join their team in the San Fernando Valley

 

Job Description:

  • Manage the allowance for loan losses process
  • Responsible for obtaining and reviewing loan charge-offs
  • Assist in the review of banking regulatory reports
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis
  • Oversee interim and annual audits with internal and external auditors and regulators
  • Manage and assist allowance staff
  • Assist in building and improving quantitative models for credit-loss estimation models
  • Develop, compile, and analyze information, and resolve errors in data from financial reporting systems

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public/Big 4 accounting experience
  • Experience in the financial services, banking or related industries
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Detail oriented individual with strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
