Interim Payroll Manager (Project)

Our client in the financial services industry is looking for an Interim Payroll Manager to join their team in Los Angeles County.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage multi-state, multi-location payroll operations
  • Supervise and mentor payroll employees
  • Oversee payroll and sales/commission processing
  • Approve account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Manage fiscal and calendar year-end processing
  • Assist with W-2, 1099 and other tax forms
  • Oversee the maintenance of payroll records

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
