Interim GL Accountant (Project)

Our client in the technology industry is looking for an Interim GL Accountant to join their team in Santa Barbara County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare month end close and daily activities
  • Help improve and maintain analysis reports and help analyze balance sheet and income statement account variances
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts
  • Assist external and internal auditors with audits

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills and Blackline
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate complex information to a variety of audiences
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, mathematics, economics, business, finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
