Accountant

Our client in the healthcare industry is looking for an Accountant to join their team in Los Angeles County

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare financial statements
  • Help update the chart of accounts
  • Prepare all recurring, non-recurring and adjusting journal entries
  • Help analyze monthly and year-end close to formulate accruals
  • Prepare and reconcile schedules
  • Help analyze the account to determine the appropriateness of the balance
  • Help maintain supporting documentation
  • Develop or recommends adjustments to journal entries
  • Assist in the maintenance of general ledger and journal entries
  • Perform special projects and analysis
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to communicate with professionals at all levels
  • Able to work independently and take initiative
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • A team player
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience
