Interim SEC Reporting Manager (Project)

Our client in the manufacturing/distribution industry is looking for an Interim SEC Reporting Manager to join their team in Orange County.

 

Job Description:

  • Prepare and file SEC periodic reports
  • Ensure compliance with all SEC and FASB regulations
  • Manage SEC filings related to XBRL reporting
  • Review and suggest improvements to processes, policies and procedures
  • Help recruit, train, and evaluate staff

 

Requirements:

  • CPA license
  • Public accounting and private industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of SEC reporting and GAAP
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with financial and accounting reporting systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaborate as part of a team
  • Able to adapt to changing priorities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience
