Accounts Payable Manager

Our client in the transportation industry is looking for a Accounts Payable Manager to join their team in the San Fernando Valley.

 

Job Description:

  • Manage and supervise the AP department
  • Assist with credit card reporting
  • Reconcile credit card statements
  • Assist with credit card submissions and expense reports
  • Print and match vendor invoices
  • Assist with monthly management reporting
  • Update W9 records and assist with 1099 reporting
  • Submit semi-monthly deposit reports
  • Reconcile vendor statement of accounts
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel skills
  • Experience with Great Plains is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to work on multiple projects with accuracy and efficiency, while keeping to deadlines
  • Detail-oriented
  • Strong work ethic

 

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
